This will be the beginning of a long series (I hope) of posts regarding curious number patterns which I will divide into five headings per post. These patterns have fascinated mathematicians and non-mathematicians alike. Even people who don’t know very much about mathematics would appreciate them. When I was still learning math as a kid particularly multiplication, I was very interested in finding number patterns since they tend help me to further understand mathematics as a whole.

There are so many interesting number patterns out there and many more waiting to be discovered. So, let’s begin our exploration on the hidden wonders of numbers.

### Some Classics Part 1

These are the number patterns that you will normally see on many books about recreational mathematics and some children’s math books since they are very intuitive and can be easily understood even with little mathematical foundation and of course, the patterns are quite awesome. There are several of these ‘classic number patterns’ hence, I will post two patterns at a time under the heading “Some Classics”. Now, without further ado, here’s the patterns
